The detergent dispenser has a catch mechanism that prevents it from being completely removed from the appliance.
It is designed to stop at a
certain point when pulled out.
If you pull the detergent dispenser out further than intended to manually add liquid detergent, the detergent may spill out the front.
Try this.
When manually adding liquid detergent, ensure the yellow removal prevention hook on the detergent dispenser is engaged.
Pulling the detergent dispenser out further than the intended stop position to add liquid detergent may cause leakage.
- Using only hot water above 50°C (122°F) may cause excessive foaming and overflow when detergent is added.
- Reassemble the detergent dispenser securely after cleaning. Do not open the detergent dispenser when the drum is being filled.
- When manually adding detergent, use the correct amount. Using too much detergent can cause excessive foaming.
