Operating the Wall-Mounted Air Conditioner in Dehumidification Mode
How to Use the Dehumidification Button:
-
Press the Dehumidification button on the remote control to start dehumidification mode.
-
Each time you press this button, the mode toggles between Dehumidification and Power Off.
-
After running for a while, the air conditioner will automatically reset the target temperature.
-
During dehumidification, the fan speed adjusts automatically but can also be manually changed by pressing the Fan Speed button on the remote.
-
The indoor unit display shows the current humidity level during dehumidification.
-
Note: The humidity level or fan speed displayed on the product may differ from actual values.
-
If you turn the remote control off and on again, it will show the previous settings, which might not match the current operation on the air conditioner.
How Dehumidification Works:
-
The air conditioner pulls in warm, moist air from the room.
-
This air passes over the cold heat exchanger, where the moisture in the air condenses into water droplets on the exchanger’s surface.
-
These water droplets, called condensed water, are drained outside through the drain hose.
-
The amount of condensed water corresponds to how much moisture is removed from the air.
Additional Notes:
-
When the air conditioner reaches the target temperature during cooling, the inverter technology slows down or temporarily stops the compressor.
-
This causes the heat exchanger’s temperature to rise, reducing condensation and causing the air to feel less cool and sometimes damp again.
