Why does your air purifier indicator change when the air conditioner is on?
Your air conditioner repeatedly takes in indoor air, cools it, and
releases it back into the room.
This creates airflow that can move dust or gases around, causing your
air purifier to detect them.
Even if the air quality indicator turns red ('Poor'), both units are
operating normally.
1. What happens when you only use your air purifier?
When only your air purifier is running and the surrounding air is
clean, it automatically reduces airflow.
As a result, dust or gases do not circulate as much, so the air
quality indicator remains at 'Good' (blue).
Try this
- Step 1. Turn on a fan in front of the air purifier instead of using the air conditioner.
- Step 2. If you see the same change in air quality, the product is operating normally.
- Step 3. If the air purifier filter is dirty, clean or replace it.
