auto tuning feature on an LG TV automatically
scans for all available broadcast channels (via an antenna or a direct cable connection) and saves them to your TV's channel list.
This means you don't have to manually search for each channel's frequency; the TV does all the work for you, making it quick and easy to start watching live TV. It is typically used when you set up your TV for the first time, move to a new location, or if your service provider changes its channel lineup

Press the
button on the TV remote and select [All Settings] → [General] → [Channels] → [Channel Tuning] → [Start] → [Done].
1. Turn on the TV and press the [Settings] button on your TV remote.
Select [All Settings] in the [Settings] menu.
2. Select [General].
3. Select [Channels].
4. Select [Channel Tuning].
5. Select the connected antenna and press [Start].
6. Once the Channel Tuning is completed, select [Done].
