Gaming4Good UAE’S Gaming Community Charity Event

UAE’s gaming community is joining forces to organize Gaming4Good, a charity event with all proceeds going to Dubai Autism Centre. This is the first event of its kind in the UAE where gamers can donate their games or working consoles and pick up titles at the bargain price of only Dhs 10 per game. Donation boxes will be present at the Living Rooms Café, Dubai Festival City from 12th to 22nd December 2011. All items donated will go on sale from 1pm to 6pm at the Living Rooms Café on 23rd December. Any gaming consoles that are donated will be given to children’s wings of hospitals and to orphanages.

“We are proud to help organize Gaming4Good as way to raise money for all the work done by the Dubai Autism Centre. There is a very active gaming community here in the UAE and this is a fantastic opportunity for everyone to come together for this event. We are also grateful to have the support of all our partners who are helping to support this event by generously donating some of their games to this event. We hope that gamers will look at Gaming4Good as a way to pick up some great games while at the same time doing some charitable work”, said Mr. H.S. Paik, President of LG Electronics Gulf FZE.

Gaming4Good is supported by EA, Campus Radio, Geekay Games, LG, Living Rooms Café, Lochal Archade, Middle East Film and Comic Con, Middle East Gamers, Pluto Games, Red Distribution, SAE Institute, Tbreak Media, The Republic, Time Out Dubai, Viva Entertainment, Uth Magazine and Youth Arabia.
