Understand 3D glasses
There are three different types of 3D glasses—active, passive, and 3D Dual Play—and the type of glasses you use for your TV depends on what type of 3D your TV displays.
Purchase active-shutter glasses
You can purchase active-shutter glasses from a number of electronics retailers. Just be sure to get the correct glasses based on the model release date of your TV.
Purchase LG Cinema 3D passive glasses
3D DUAL PLAY GLASSES
3D Dual Play glasses are made for two-player split-screen gaming. While wearing the lightweight battery-free glasses, each player can see only their character's point of view (in 2D) across the entire screen. Which means no more squinting at a smaller split-screen view and no more cheating by peeking at your opponent's screen.
For a small percentage of the population, the viewing of stereoscopic 3D video technology may cause discomfort such as headaches, dizziness or nausea. If you experience any symptoms, discontinue using the 3D functionality and contact your health care provider.
