My air conditioner cannot be turned on. Why?

             1. My air conditioner cannot be turned on.

             2. The Circuit breaker trips.

 

 

 

 

If my air conditioner cannot be turned on.

Cause Cause

           Power may not be turned on due to power outage or tripped circuit breaker. -> Please check the connection or the extension cord.

              1.
If power is on : call a service center for technical assistance

              2. If power cannot be turned on, try resetting the circuit breaker.

                  Do not plug a product in a multi-outlet strip with heavy power consuming devices

                 such as a microwave oven, an iron, or a hair dryer

                 ※ Avoid use of a multi-outlet strip unless necessary. 

                      Plug in the power cord into a wall socket.

     

                   If the symptom persists, contact your apartment management office or electricity provider.

The circuit breaker trips more than once in a day.

 

Cause Cause

 

              This may occur due to overload when electricity consumption is high.

               If the air conditioner works properly in the morning and evening, it may not be due to the product defect.

 

How to fix  How to check

 

              Please contact  the authorized service technician or the installer and have your circuit breaker checked or replaced

              if it trips more than once in a day during use.

  My circuit breaker trips immediately after I flip the switch on.

 

Cause Cause

 

              If the circuit breaker trips after installing a high electricity consuming product, it is due to a shortage of electricity capacity.

              Please contact a qualified person to check the house wiring.

 

How to fix How to fix

 

              1. Please try resetting the circuit breaker for the product.
                  If the symptom persists, please contact your property management office or electricity provider for technical assistance.

                    If the circuit breaker trips as soon as  the AC is turned on after installation, 
                        contact
the authorized technician or the installer to have it checked first.

              2. If the circuit breaker suddenly starts to trip, please check for short circuits.
                  Please contact the service center for technical assistance.
