[LG Air Conditioner Dehumidification] Is there a difference between dehumidifications of air conditioner and dehumidifier?

Troubleshooting

Dehumidification

Every process involving removal of moisture contained in various gas as well as air and making it dry are called [Dehumidification].
It varies depending on the principle of dehumidification, specific methods(mechanism), and tools used, just like this, dehumidification by air conditioner or dehumidifier are similar in terms of principles but due to the difference in specific methods(mechanism), they exhibit different characteristics.

Principles of dehumidification

1. Suck in wet air[moisture]

2. Surface contact with the heat exchanger(evaporator)[Temp ▼]

3. Changed to dews[water bubbles]

4. Surface contact with the heat exchanger(condenser)[Temp ▲]

5. Dry air with no moisture discharged to the outside.

Moist air touches the evaporator and condenser, condensate is generated, and dry air is discharged.

Characteristics of dehumidification operations of air conditioners and dehumidifiers

[Dehumidifier]

1. Dehumidifier is an integrated type of evaporator and condenser that discharges hot wind as it is.
Air temperature at water supply outlet : In case of 13L(3.4gal) product, it is about 38℃~39℃(100.4°F~102.2°F), In case of 15L(3.9gal), it is about 40℃~41℃(104°F~105.8°F)
[Indoor temperature 27℃(80.6°F), relative humidity 60%. See the lab measurement criteria.]
[If you use other account than summer, wind temperature of the water supply outlet can differ.)

2. During winter or in a location with low indoor humidity, defrosting[dF] can occur.

[Air Conditioner]

1. Since the air conditioner uses higher wind volume and capacity than the dehumidifier, it provides a greater amount of dehumidification.
Amount of dehumidification by dehumidifier : Drained into a bucket, so if full, it cannot continuously drain.
Amount of dehumidification by air conditioner : Can connect the drain hose and continuously drain during the product use time.

2. As cooling and dehumidification take place at the same time, it can be mainly using summer only.
