What People Are Saying

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great. Would buy again Bought this unit to cool one floor our home. It is about 800 square feet, with an open concept. We use a couple ceiling fans to keep the air circulating through each room, and this unit can cool them down very quickly. My only gripe is that even in its lowest settings, it is still fairly noisey. Only had it for one summer so I can't really speak on its longevity, but overall I am very happy with it, and would buy it again if given the opportunity. Price was a little higher than I would have liked, but you get what you pay for.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Air Conditioner Ever This is my second LG thru the wall air conditioner in two months. The first one limped along until it got hot....then it was worthless. I returned it thinking it might be defective and got another one, having had great faith in LG appliances. The second was worthless from the start. I've been sitting in temperatures over 100 degrees for nearly 2 weeks now just to remain brand loyal. I'll never buy an LG product again.

Difference between two wall ac units

I ask this because I am thinking of purchasing at the local Home Depot. However, I noticed that these two units are classified as 13000 btu's and the specs appear to be exactly the same. Why is the model number LT 1433CNR more expensive (approx. $35 more) than the model LT143CNR? I couldn't get an answer from Home Depot. Thank you for your time
Asked by: Deeds
I cannot find a difference, I am assuming that the LT1433CNR is the successor to the LT143CNR. The specifications look the same. The price is decided by the retailer, unfortunately I have no information on why there may be a price difference.
