What People Are Saying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful, very roomy and easy to clean I got this for Christmas and I couldn't be happier with the look, size and interior cleaning features!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not Bad for price Bought this to replace old Panasonic on it's last legs. Nice easy to clean inside, heats everything fine. Cons: slides around on counter top - suggest rubber feet. Rattles (sounds like fan) when defrosting. Noisy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from EXPECT TO WORK LONGER THAN 14 MONTHS I purchased this microwave oven Christmas 2015 and it has already quit working. There is only an one year warranty and I understand that. I will stay away from LG products now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We Needed A New Microwave 3 Days Before Christmas We bought this unit after our trusty old microwave oven quit working, 3 days before Christmas. We needed a microwave oven and quick. We found this gem and brought it home and we are glad we did. Plenty of power and is big enough for anything we need to cook in it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works Like A Microwave Should With One Exception I have had this microwave a little over a month. It works great except the way the clock works. If you need a working clock this is not the microwave for you. I was caught by surprise when I got it home and realized that the clock only works when the microwave is in use. Yes, you can only see the time when you are cooking something. I believe they say it will stay on about 5 minutes after use but I haven't noticed. Otherwise it works as advertised.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk After Two days there is a terrible rattling noise from inside the Unit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Please give me a clock that stays on Bought this microwave when our 27 year old Tappan died (yes 27). I have other LG appliances that I love and felt just couldn't go wrong with an LG. This thing has a lot of features I will never need or use, but I really want a clock that stays on. It's driving me crazy! That said, I am enjoying the power of this microwave. It's also nice to find another microwave that's bigger than a toaster. this so u or be a 5=star review if the clock stayed on.

I own & really like this microwave but it's worn out & I need a new one. The clock auto shut-off on the new model is a deal-breaker. Is there another model that has the same features without the clock auto shut-off? I will switch brands to keep the clock.

Asked by: busymom39
I apologize, but no; all of our countertop microwaves have the Energy Saving feature which automatically deactivates the clock display, until a button is pressed. We regret your dissatisfaction with the design of these models.

How do you keep the clock display on it shuts off after a couple minutes

Asked by: Shenaldo
We appreciate your interest in this microwave oven. According to the notice on page 7 of the owner’s manual, the display will automatically turn off after 5 minutes of idleness. This is an energy saving feature. There is not a method available to modify this operation.

We just purchased this microwave and it seems a bit dark.  Is there one light or two on the inside?  Looks like only one light on the right side is lighting up.  Thank you!

Asked by: Ms Mom
We regret your dissatisfaction with the design of this microwave oven. This model is designed with only one lamp inside the oven; this lamp is located behind a screen on the right wall of the microwave oven. This is normal operation.

My turn table makes a grating noise during use, on and off during the cooking I've checked that the plate is on properly and the turning mechanism also ,I've also made sure it's clean and no crumbs are in there so I'm wondering what is causing it

Asked by: Grammycarol
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this microwave oven. If the turning path is clear, and all is running properly, then the grating noise may possibly be coming from around the turntable motor itself. It will be impossible to be certain without an inspection by a qualified service technician. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at http://www.lg.com/us/support/repair/support-repair-provider-lookup.jsp.

Is it safe to put this microwave in an enclosed cabinet?  While in use, the cabinet doors would be open but I want to make sure it would be safe and wouldn't over heat

Asked by: Sdenos
The installation instructions in the owner's manual for the LG 2.0 cu. ft. Countertop Microwave Oven with EasyClean™, Model # LCRT2010ST recommend that you allow at least 4 inches of space at the top, sides and back of the microwave oven for proper ventilation. All air vents should be kept clear during cooking otherwise the oven may overheat and trigger a sensitive thermal safety device to automatically turn the unit off and remain inoperable until it has cooled sufficiently...^IFV

It gets very wet around inside walls when I heat food why?

Asked by: Gina 26
We appreciate your interest in this microwave oven. As the microwave process works with the moisture in your foods, and that the walls of the oven cavity are metal, it is likely that some condensation may accumulate.
