What People Are Saying

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 26 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Powerful stove burners and great oven baking! this replaced a builders stove...so much more of a stove-cooks well, hot, quick, and we love the blue inside! August 21, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 Very nice range! Very nice range for the price. Bought the whole kitchen suite and are very happy! July 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Looks and cooks great. Burners light instantly. Burner grates are very flat to allow accurate leveling. Burners are sized properly to fit any size pan. The blue oven interior is cool. We leave the door open to impress our friends. The convection feature of the oven cooks great. Cons: One leveling leg was broken and thusly made it harder to level. Grates on first range were not flat and impossible to level. July 10, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this range! We have found that our new oven is superb! The burners heat up the pans extremely fast leading to a decrease in overall cooking time. The same is true for the oven. We have found that most items cook a lot faster. We also love the design of this particular range. We had looked at several similar models, but chose the LG for it's style and features. We are not disappointed in our choice. Would highly recommend this range! June 25, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Lots of easy to use features The burners are easy to use and fit any size pot. Temperature is very easy to control. June 22, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very sleek and stylish oven purchased this as part of a 4 pc kitchen suite package from Costco. Of all my new appliances, I must say this oven looks the best. Its also a convection oven. I am very pleased with the meals i have cooked so far with this oven. I haven't baked a cake yet, thats the real test, but so far go good. Luv this oven! June 16, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Ease of operation Despite its complicated looking control panel it is very easy to use. Love the way it is styled. My only negative is that the middle burner is a bit weak. June 14, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Oven - Disappointed in Center Burner I love everything about this oven EXCEPT the middle burner. LG should make it clearer that the middle burner has the lowest BTU out of all the burners therefore you cannot grill or really cook anything on it. We tried pancakes and it took a REALLY long time for them to cook. Obviously, it states the BTU's in the manual but you don't really have access to that when you are at the store shopping for appliances. Very disappointed as this was one of the main reasons we bought this model. Everything else is great except the Easyclean feature - doesn't really work well. May 21, 2015

We are looking for a dual fuel range in that the stove portion is powered by gas and the oven portion is powered by electric. The sales people at Best Buy tell me most of their ovens, including this one (LRG3085ST), have an oven powered by electric but I can't find anything on-line to support that. Everything I see just says gas.
Also, our power will be 40 AMP, 240 VOLT, the Best Buy sales people also tell me that this matches all ovens and I'm also not so sure about that. Can you confirm that for the LRG3085ST?
Finally, if, in fact, the Best Buy sales people are incorrect, can you point me at LG ranges that do meet my specs (dual-fuel and 240 on 40.
Thanks,

Answer:
It is a GAS OVEN!!! It uses electricity to control the valves and burners inside the oven....but it still uses gas to power burners inside for cooking. If you're asking if it's electronically controlled, yes it is. Is it electric coils cooking the food inside the oven? No. Most modern ovens/ranges run 110/120 volt for the control centers on the top portion of the oven(for gas ranges). The only ones I see running 220/240 volt are the "all electric" ranges that have electric range tops and electric oven coils for cooking. I've never seen any oven that is both electric and gas.

This is a gas oven. What's electric is the ignition system for the gas.

Griddle

The sales guy didn't know, so I'll ask here. Does this unit come with the griddle plate for the middle burner? If not, where can I get one? I have purchased it already, just waiting on delivery.

LRG3085ST - gas hook up located where on range?

We are converting our electric range to this gas range. We have not taken possession of our new LG range yet - but are getting gas hook up placed. The person connecting the new gas line needs to know where the new gas line will connect to the stove - so he can drill the hole in the floor for access.
if you could provide in inches - where the gas line will connect to the stove - that would be helpful. i.e. "5 inches from R rear corner", since it is 30" wide if in the middle then 'at the 15 in mark"
Unfortunately, our Home Depot does not have this model on their show floor. thanks so much

Answer:
If you have not received it yet, the gas valve is about 9" from the rear right side of the oven. But, you have to be able to hook up the gas line and then slide the range between your cabinets(assuming you have a standard kitchen set up) So as long as you have a 30" gas line to run from you pipe leg to the oven, you'll be fine.

Is this brand new?

Is this Range new? And does it really have the easyclean feature that is found on the double oven? I love that feature-- but do not want a double oven.
