What People Are Saying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love everything about it My stove was over 19 years old, been looking for a stove to replace it, I love everything about this stove, had to get used to the convection oven, it does cook food faster and at a lower temp. the first batch of cookies I over cooked but the rest came out great, my kids love cooking on the griddle making pancakes and also making grilled cheese. I am so happy about everything this has to offer, Would I purchase it again YES I would.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wife is on my case Looks awesome! No broil with warm oven???? How do you melt your cheese on top of your pizza??? Insane that you can not use broil at any time!!! Oven is out of control!! Will heat up 100-150 degrees past setting after 20-30 minutes. Tried adjusting temp per manual. Does not help!!!! Stay away from this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from careful of center burner we purchased this unit because of the oval center burner only to learn later this is made to be a warming burner not for actual cooking. the unit is well built, but do not buy this if the main reason is the center griddle. I guess we should have researched this online before purchase. LG needs to clearly advertise the center burner is only 8000 BTU , needs to be changed to 10000 plus to be a great product. LG customer service said it is made for vegetables, grilled sandwiches and pancakes- which it does cook- if you have the time :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Oven After 25 years with a electric oven, I finally swapped to gas. I am very happy with my choice of this LG range. It was a easy install and perfect for my kitchen. I would strongly recommend this range.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding performance Found oven cooked evenly and temperature controls were accurate. Previous oven not LG was unpredictable and either did not cook foods thoroughly or burned them. This range is easy to clean and an attractive addition to the kitchen. I would highly recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Impressive Looking I really didn't think that a range could make my kitchen looks so updated, but it does. I love the middle burner for the griddle pan. The knobs are large and professional looking. I do have to clean the stove top more than I thought because it's black and you can see dust and food easier. Also, I made a mistake and put foil on the bottom of the oven, between the vents. I've done this with all my ovens, DO NOT DO THIS! The foil will melt on the bottom! Overall, I love this range!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great stove and oven Love the stove and oven. Two things I don't like is the black top shows all dust and food particles. And you have to move the grill to use a larger pan on the other burners.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best stove I ever had I've had mine for two years, and I've never regretted it. I see a lot of complaints here about flimsy knobs, but mine are very solid so maybe LG has corrected that problem for newer models. The griddle does take at least five minutes to heat up enough, but you'd want to give that much time to ANY heavy, thick metal item such as a cast-iron pan. My reason for reviewing is to pass on a tip: The black enameled top was initially hard to keep clean because it always seemed smeary, but then I discovered that I can use whatever spray cleaner I want, get it as clean as I want and THEN give it a once-over with a wipe designed for stainless steel. No streaks, no smudges.

What does the F11 code mean for my LRG3093ST?

The burners work, but the oven will not heat up. The F11 code comes on about 5-7 mins after I press the desired temp for my oven. What can I do to fix this problem.
Asked by: Josh513
Actually, if you turn to page 35 in your owner's manual for the LG 5.4 cu. ft. Capacity Gas Single Oven Range with Oval Burner and Griddle, Model # LRG3093ST, there is a description and explanation of all the error codes you're likely to encounter on this unit. For an "F11" error code, the manual instructs to "Check the main gas shut-off valve or the oven gas shut-off valve(see “Surface burners light but oven burner does not” column)." It also adds that if the function code repeats, "Disconnect all power to the range for 5 minutes and then reconnect power. If the function error code repeats, call for service." Hope that helps...^IFV

f 3 appears on the control panel. How can I fix this problem?

Asked by: chefroz678
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this gas range. The F3 error suggests that one of the keys or buttons is reporting some malfunction. This could be due to a power fluctuation, surge, or other related problem. Press the CLEAR/OFF button to clear the code, and then try the function again. If the problem comes again, then the unit, turn off the circuit breaker for about 30 seconds, and then test again. If it still gives the error, then the device will likely require service. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at

I put a piece of foil on bottom of oven. Did not realize I was not suppose to.

It baked into the finish and I can't get it off. Tried the self clean feature twice
Asked by: Poten5
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this gas range. Unfortunately, according to the cautionary note on page 24 of your owner’s manual, the use of foil on the bottom of the range can produce poor baking results, and can cause permanent damage to the oven interior, since the aluminum foil will melt to the interior surface of the oven. Once melted onto the oven, it is unlikely to be removed.

I am having trouble cleaning the burners. I have used suggestion in manual nod did not work. Placed in dishwasher and let soot like residue

And white spots on the burners
Asked by: Poten5
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this gas range. If you want to remove burned-on food and residue, soak the burner heads in a solution of mild liquid detergent and HOT water for 20-30 minutes. For more stubborn stains, use a toothbrush.

Is it possible to replace the cooktop on this range?

We purchased the LG gas range (LRG3093ST) new, but our renters have ruined the cooktop. Spillovers were not removed, now they are baked into the enamel and they tried to use an abrasive cleaner to remove so it's badly scratched and we're unable to remove their stains. We'd like to know if cooktop replacement is possible, and if so, what the cost would be. Thank you!
Asked by: Chrisrl
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this gas range. Yes, the surface should be able to be removed and replaced. It is recommended to have this performed by a service technician. That tech would have to advise you of the estimates for such a job. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at
