What People Are Saying

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 251 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by I like the drum size and the dry options. The drum is big enough for even my quilt from the bed. The variety of drying options is great, it even lets me adjust dry times and heat level if needed. August 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Drum size and features Can't believe how technology has improved as this dryer actually times and senses the correct temperature for drying clothes. The dried items comes out at an ambient temperature neither hot nor cold - WOW! July 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent product Easy to use, many settings, energy efficient, great size. July 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this dryer I bought this dryer several month ago to go with the matching washer. We were shopping to replace our washer and were going to keep our old dryer but I am glad we bought this new dryer. Even though my old dryer was 15 years old and seemed to work fine, I didn't realize how inefficient it was until I saw how much better the newer dryer dries my clothes. I don't have to turn it back on because my clothes didn't get dry. Items come out of the dryer soft and without wrinkles. The dryer is very large and holds a lot of laundry. I do wish it continued to rotate after the "end of cycle" notification for a little while because sometimes you can't get to the dryer the minute it ends. I tried the "wrinkle care" but I didn't hear any notification that the drying cycle was over. That being said, I would highly recommend this dryer because it does an outstanding job. July 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Why did I wait so long? This was my first new washer purchase and I cannot believe that I waited so long! It does exactly what I need it to do and more. Super easy teaching my kids to use it too. July 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by great features. Runs quiet. adjustBLE FACTORY CYC Great product at reasonable price. Easy to use. built in cycles are easily changeable for each load. June 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sleek Lines and lots of room Only thing I would change would be the lint catcher needs to come with an accessory to clean it out because it is so deep. June 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by What a joy! The melodic signal tones are so pleasant! And the dryer works very well. My old dryer was a beast so I am very pleased. ONLY fault I've found is the area under the lint screen also accumulates lint. I've used the vacuum to pull it out since it is beyond my finger's reach and doesn't seem to go into the filter. Otherwise, I am a satisfied customer! June 8, 2014

Answer:
We appreciate your interest in this dryer. The RACK DRY feature allows the air drying of items, for use with wools or delicates. It can also be used for shoes or stuffed animals that are not meant to be tumbled. The drum will still turn, but it is expected that the rack will be set in place and items placed on the rack itself.

I apologize, but no; power cords for an electric range must be purchased separately. They can be obtained at most, if not all appliance stores.

Answer:
What setting do you have the dial turned to...(cotton, perm press???) Check that and then see what the automatic setting on the temp gauge is at. You may need to do more manual settings.

Answer:
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this dryer. If the unit blows only cold air, and the electronic component does not suggest any electrical problem, then the unit may be experiencing a mechanical problem, such as with the heating element itself. The dryer will likely require service. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at http://www.lg.com/us/support/repair....
