Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy Instlation Very to install and works fine so far. I gave it only 4 stars because its a little expensive for a recommended 6 months/200 gals. I do run a reverse osmosis system before the filter so I might stretch it out longer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Water tastes clean and fresh every time Definitely worth getting it and replacing it every 3 months.
Date published: 2016-03-24
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Necessary Part The water filter is a necessary part for my refrigerator. I purchased the filter to maintain good quality water dispensed from my refrigerator. It was a replacement for the original filter that came with the refrigerator. As required, I replaced the filter at the six-month mark. I am pleased with the product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Water and ice taste great! I like the ease of installation and the reminders that appear on the door panel when it's time to replace the filters. Still a bit pricey, but works great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tasting water The original water filter produced great tasting water. Went online to order a replacement and thought I was ordering an LG filter but it was made by someone else. Water taste is terrible. I'm ordering another LG, from LG. I recommend this filter even though it's too expensive.

Does this filter help with low PH? Our level is a 5, looking for a filter for fridge model LFXS30766S to increase PH level.

Asked by: Ammcclu
The LG 6 month / 200 Gallon Capacity Replacement Refrigerator Water Filter (part # ADQ36006101), Model # LT-700P is the correct filter for the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 0 cu.ft. Super-Capacity French Door Refrigerator w/ Door-in-Door®, Model # LFXS30766S. This Water Filter System is tested and certified by NSF International against NSF/ANSI Standard 42 and Standard 53 for the reduction of various contaminants including Cryptosporidium parvum oocysts. pH is regulated by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The regulated values for the pH of drinking water are between 6.5 and 8.5. Typically, water with a pH value lower than 6.5 may have a higher concentration of lead or copper due to degrading pipes and fixtures. Although the Water Filter removes lead contaminants at pH levels of 6.5 & 8.5, it might not raise your pH values significantly to make the water more alkaline. There are methods that you can employ to raise the pH value of your water like some distiller units that can be conveniently hooked to your refrigerator’s water and ice unit...^IFV

Why would my water pressure decrease after changing my water filter?

I replaced my water filter for the 3rd time and now my water pressure has decreased. This didn't happen on my previous filter changes.
Asked by: Charlie365
We're sorry to hear that you are experiencing reduced water flow in your LG Refrigerator after replacing the LG 6 month / 200 Gallon Capacity Replacement Refrigerator Water Filter (ADQ36006101), Model # LT-700P. Either one of 2 things is behind the reduced water water flow. You may have a defective water filter, which if that is case, will need to be exchanged for a new one. The most likely cause though may be that you have air in the water line. After changing the water filter, you should dispense 2.5 gallons of water to remove trapped air and contaminants from the system. Depress and release the dispenser pad for cycles of 30 seconds ON and 60 seconds OFF rather than dispensing continuously...^IFV
