Once you have used a 15.6" laptop you just can't go back to smaller screens even the other laptops offer more battery life and better keyboard etc. At this size carrying it around in such a light fashion was unimaginable. I like the auto turn on feature, if it has matt screen then it would be quite perfect for my routine.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Touchpad skips after initial touch Good laptop. All existing reviews summarize the pros. The only downside is: the touchpad delays initial touches. When my finger first touches the trackpad, the first 0.2 inches of movement are not shown on the screen, then my cursor "skips" to compensate for that. This makes precision tasks very difficult. I don't think it is a faulty touchpad in my case (can anyone confirm this?) but more like a feature to prevent accidental mouse movement before clicking. So far I haven't found a way to fix this. I hope LG or ELAN (the trackpad manufacturer) releases a driver update for this very soon.

He was very impressed when he saw how slim and then felt how light weight the laptop is. This laptop goes from power off to fully booted/logged-in in 15 seconds. We will be purchasing other LG Gram laptops.

Ignore any review you have read that talk about compromises. There are none. It is solid, beautiful, fast, lasts over 5 hours, great screen, keyboard, instant booting......a typical first class LG product like their TV's. Its so light, I have to check my briefcase to make sure I took it to work with me.

Really was worried that I wouldn't like having an unlit keyboard, but after using it I realize that I don't ever really use it when I'm in an unlit room. Ambient light from the screen helps as well. Battery life isn't horrible, but nothing to write home about.A good product, and we have plenty of LG products here at home, from smartphones, to TVs to our dishwasher, fridge, and washer and dryer set. LG is huge in our home, why not a laptop.

The keyboard frequently lags when typing. When entering information I often have to type the first letter twice as it does not register the first time. Is there a fix for this
