What People Are Saying

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Upgrade my Lap Top Video This monitor has a fine color pallet with both a great range of brightness and contrast. I do a lot of graphic and photo layouts and find the image on the screen translates to paper with a high degree of accuracy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Features! I had this monitor for a couple of weeks now and it's a huge bang for the buck monitor. Very little light bleed for IPS, AMD Freesync, 75hz refresh rate, and even a vesa mount. This monitor does include an HDMI cable out of the box. Changing settings on the monitor is very simple thanks to the joystick. The monitor does wobble if your desk shakes, not a huge issue for me though. The bezel is average for a budget monitor. It's not thin but not ridiculously thick either. There is screen flickering and screen artifacts but only if you use the faster response time mode. There is room for improvement but overall I highly recommend this to anyone that is looking for a 22 inch monitor.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not sure about this monitor... Product was erroneously listed as having a display port... not a deal breaker since freesync works with HDMI. My problem with it is watching video or scrolling a webpage with pictures. Still looking into this as it may just be settings or the difference between the TN and IPS panels but for instance when viewing this monitor page on the LG site the image of the panel with a sunset scene looks great but when you scroll up or down the picture changes...its like the sharpness increases a lot and the mid-tones change color due to this then as the image stops moving the sharpness increase and the image slightly blurs back to the normal look when static. Its almost like changing the focus on a camera every time you scroll up or down and it looks different depending on which direction you scroll. Video looks kinda off too but that could be the difference in resolution (was using 2x 1680x1050 TN panels, replaced one with this item) but goofing with editing video with my kid and we apply a slo mo effect and then the video seems to act like the images and quickly changed the focus or sharpness. This since its video it creates a flickering effect. If this is normal i don't think i want a 1080p or at least not a 1080p ips monitor as its very annoying. I hope this is a defect or can be resolved via tweaking settings other wise i will most likely return this monitor. For gaming i fired up Doom (2016) and it looked very good, a noticeable difference over the 1680-1050 resolution even though its pretty close to HD. So for gaming this is monitor is fine. The split screen feature is interesting and could be useful but it seems to require a reboot to enable or change the split layout which isn't very handy and i had issues with it picking up my mouse cursor in a game and bringing back to the desktop mid-game (game was in windowed mode but its a fullscreen window) Only other minor issue i had was it took a bit of looking to enable first monitor with this feature and i thought it would be on by default but the AMD drivers said "not supported" you need to dig into the monitor settings and enable it first. Will update if things change if you can edit your review.

where is the display port located? Looking at frys and LG website both listed as having display port, HDMI, d-sub and headphones but, the images of the rear panel does not show a display port. Wanting to buy this and sale ends in a few days.

Hi Daniel. Please accept our apologies for that erroneous information. The LG 22" Class Full HD IPS LED Monitor with AMD FreeSync (21.5" Diagonal), Model # 22MK430H does not have a Display Port on it. Thank you for bringing that to our attention. The specifications have been corrected to show that it doesn't have a DisplayPort...^IFV
