Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful picture, very crisp Using as 4th monitor. Very good contrast and very crisp. 4K videos play well on it. Seems like Multi-Screen software only works if the LG is the main monitor. But no complaints. I wall mounted it, the VESA works fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Increased productivity for business I love this monitor. When I first got it I felt I may be a little to big compared to the dual 24 inch monitors I was using before. Now I do not know if I could ever work on anything else. The monitors is way better than having two. With the windows arrow quadrant hot keys it makes moving windows around and comparing side by side much easier than dragging windows across screens. A tip I realize is to position my chair in front of the part of the monitor I will mostly be staring at. That prevents any type of neck pain from prolonged use. The picture is great and I have the necessary adjustments I need to work on the brightness. The only thing I have heard is that it is better to design and video edit on a flat monitor. So far I have not had an issue but I am not a professional and only do it for fun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great monitor This is a great monitor for consumer photo editing, RPG gaming and productivity. Colors are vivid, screen is sharp and wide enough for viewing 3 documents at a time. the flat screen version of this may be better if you are into CAD or some photo/drawing applications but the curvature makes it really immersive for gaming and movie watching. While the built in speakers are not exactly hifi, they allow me to eliminate the clutter of having speakers on my desk. While I do not have an AMD card at the moment, I've had no problems running this monitor via display port on an MSI GTX-1080-x, and a GTX 750 Ti (a bit weak due to the number of pixels but fine for most uses).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Jaw dropping display at an affordable price! the 34UC88 is a great monitor for those interested in entering the Ultrawide QHD display market. Many of the problems such as excessive light bleeding have been worked out in this model and the excellent quality of the display is really evident when viewing this monitor in person, especially when compared to others in a side-by-side comparison. The slight curve of the display combined with the peripheral filling 21:9 aspect ratio has set a new standard for immersion for me during gaming. I don't think I can go back to a standard 16:9 ratio monitor after having used this for the last few months. Productivity is also greatly increased with the additional space provided with with the display. It's nice to be able to have multiple items on the screen at once and LG's OnScreen Control is well developed and useful. Only missing feature is G-Sync (has FreeSync for AMD users) which I hope to see LG add to future models. Given the horsepower required to drive games at the native resolution of 3440x1440, many users will have high end Nvidia configurations given recent performance benefits of the Pascal architecture. Having the reduction of screen tearing and higher response rate benefits would have been great. With all of that said, this monitor can often be found at roughly half of the cost of competing ultrawide G-sync enabled monitors and I personally could not be happier with the price to value. Great work to LG for designing such an amazing product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellemt Computer Monitor! I replaced an all-in-one with a 27" touchscreen. This 34" monitor allows me to see more information and increases productivity. I usually have two windows open, but expand to full screen when I need to. Very clear and easy on the eyes. Have watched one movie and was impressed. Outstanding monitor!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Limitless Gadgets! OMG! This monitor is awesome! It replaced two old monitors I had on my desk. Similar screen real estate with zero physical separation. The "OnScreen Control" application allows you to snap your windows into a window format you select by accessing the template from the Windows system tray (bottom right on Windows Operating Systems). The picture by picture is a nice feature but I tend to switch sources instead. I have not used the "Dual Controller" application yet. As I am not allowed to install this software on my work computer (yet). I did get a "pluggable" model: USB3-SWITCH2 and two longer USB 3.0 cables in order to switch my keyboard/mouse (which has one USB transponder) from my personal computer to my work computer. LG rulez!

I apologize, but no; according to the chart on page 25 of your owner’s manual, it is not possible to use both HDMI ports, at the same time, for the Picture By Picture (PBP) functions.
