Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome I have never liked having to wear the 3D glasses over my regular eye glasses. I would always be uncomfortable wearing them so I stayed away from 3D movies. I decided to give these a try and now wish I would've bought them sooner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clip on 3D Glasses Bought these for the wife and friends who sometimes require viewing glasses in addition to 3d glasses for some films. All seem to enjoy them, and state they work well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Product meet my expectations plus. The product was ordered through LG. I received the product within two days and was notified that the package was delivered to my porch. The clip n glasses are easy to use and offer a clear picture. I do not have any negatives for the glasses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from able to view without the added bulk I have family members that were glasses, and the clip on lens allows them to enjoy the 3D content without the additional weight or bulk of wearing two sets of glasses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can be a great choice if you wear glasses Because these are clip-ons, I can imagine they might not fit everyone's glasses and frames perfectly. In fact, they're a bit short vertically for my glasses (but I wear bifocals so it's not an issue). But they provide more than enough width and height for our 55" OLED set when sitting six feet away. They're well made, and the spring clip assembly is particularly easy to use. I do think the mounting clips could be an issue for people with close-set eyes. As others have pointed out, the clips are a bit large and could obscure the vision of some people, especially children who already wear glasses. My wife and I don't notice it though. They are nearly twice as expensive as LG's framed 3D glasses, however, and it's not obvious where the extra manufacturing costs lie. Still, for people who require vision correction, these clip-ons provide a much nicer viewing 3D experience compared to trying to simultaneously wear two pair of framed glasses.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Handy The ones that come with the TV work fine but are a bit awkward if you wear glasses, these work much better for that purpose.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK for the price The glasses work great if you don't mind the clips blocking your view. Honestly, the clips are black and are so large, they block part of your vision. If they were smaller or clear plastic, the glasses would probably work fine. I went back to using the glasses that came with the LG TV, and figured this was just a poor purchase.

Does these work for 3D Movies at the theatre?

Asked by: JNZBOYAJ
The LG Clip-On LG Cinema 3D Glasses, Model # AG-F420 probably will not work in 3D Movie Theaters because Movie Theaters use a different type of 3D technology. Older Movie Theaters use what is known as Anaglyph 3D which uses filters of different colors, typically red and blue. For that type of 3D, you would need a pair of red and blue glasses. The red filter enables one eye to view the red part of the anaglyph image while the blue filter enables the other eye to view the blue part. The most popular system incorporated in most theaters today is Real3D, a polarized 3D system that uses polarized light to produce stereoscopic image projection. It circularly polarizes the frames clockwise for the right eye and counter-clockwise for the left eye. The audience wears circularly polarized glasses that have oppositely polarized lenses that ensures each eye sees only its designated frame. The issue is that RealD circularly polarized glasses are 45 degrees off the LG alignment, so even though you can see enough of the left channel through the right eye or vice versa, yo are going to have a significant ghosting issue as a result...^IFV

Is the tint lighter on these than the AG-F220 clip ons?

Tint appears lighter in the photos, I would definitely buy these if they are not as dark as the F220s.
Asked by: DillyDally
We appreciate your interest in this television and its accessories. The color of the lenses can vary, according to the ambient lighting, simply due to the fact that they are polarized lenses. This is normal for the Cinema 3D glasses.
