[LG monitor] Does it make an irregular(tapping) noise within the case while the monitor is running?

Troubleshooting

➔ The tapping noise that occurs when turning on or using the monitor is a sound that can be generated as a result of temperature changes in the monitor.

Thermal expansion and contraction noises

  • Due to the characteristics of the monitor, when the monitor is turned on, heat is generated on the LCD screen or mainboard, causing a temperature change.
  • During monitor use, thermal expansion and contraction of the case can occur, resulting in what can sound like tapping noises.
  • Thermal expansion and contraction is a normal phenomenon that occurs due to temperature changes in the plastic case, so rest assured as it is not a product defect.
