Causes and Symptoms

The remote control may not function properly in areas where electric ballasts or three-wavelength lamps are installe d.

Solutions

  1. T o ensure normal operation of the remote control, replace electric ballast-applied lamps and three-wavelength lamps with globally standardized products.

  2. Replace the batteries in the remote control with new ones. (Note: Newly purchased remote controls may also contain defective batteries . )

Warning

  • Do not mix new and old batteries. Mixing batteries can cause fire, electric shock, overheating due to electromagnetic waves, or battery fluid leakage.

  • Use only the batteries specified for the remote control to avoid similar hazard s .

For LED Projectors

  • The remote control operates within a range of 6 meters (19.69 feet) and at up to a 30-degree angle to the left and right of the remote signal receiver.

  • If a cable is connected to the rear port of the remote signal receiver, the effective remote control range decreases to 3 meters (9.84 feet) , with the same 30-degree angle to the left and right.

  • To ensure smooth operation, avoid blocking the IR port on the remote signal receiver .

  • When carrying the remote control in a bag, make sure that the buttons are not accidentally pressed by other items such as the projector body, cables, or documents, as this can cause the batteries to drain rapidly .
