How to Install and Delete Apps on Your LG TV

Troubleshooting

You can install a variety of apps from the LG Apps and delete the ones you no longer need.
If an app won't install, make sure you're signed in to your LG Account, your TV is connected to the internet, your LG Services Country setting matches your region, and your TV has enough storage space.
If you're still having trouble after checking these settings, you may need to reset your TV.

Why Can’t I Install or Find an App?

1. Not Signed In to Your LG Account

If you’re not signed in to your LG Account, you may not be able to install or use some apps.

2. Internet Connection and LG Services Country Settings

An unstable internet connection can prevent apps from downloading.
Downloads may also be unavailable if your LG Services Country setting doesn't match your actual location.
Please note that some apps may not be available in your area, as app availability can vary by region and TV model.

3. Not Enough Storage Space

If your TV’s storage space is full, you may need to delete apps you no longer need before installing new ones.

FAQ

Q. Can I install region-specific apps on a TV I bought in another country?
A. Apps and services are tied to the country where the TV was sold, so you may not be able to install apps meant for a different region.
Also, changing your TV's region settings through unsupported methods may prevent apps from installing or updating properly.
Q. Why does my TV say there isn't enough storage to install an app?
A. This message appears when your TV doesn't have enough internal storage.
Open[Edit App List] from the Home menu, then delete apps you no longer use to free up space.

This guide is based on standard models. The settings menu may vary by model.
