How to Connect a Bluetooth Device to Your LG TV

Troubleshooting

To listen to your LG TV through Bluetooth headphones or a speaker, set the sound output to Bluetooth in the TV's settings menu.
Turn on your Bluetooth device and put it in pairing mode. Then, select your device from the list on the TV screen.

Why won't my Bluetooth device connect to the TV?

1. The device isn't in pairing mode

Your Bluetooth device may already be connected to another device, such as a smartphone, or it may not be in pairing mode.

2. The TV's sound output isn't set to Bluetooth

The TV's sound output might be set to the TV Speaker or another external device instead of Bluetooth.

3. Signal interference or a temporary system error

Interference from nearby wireless devices or a temporary TV system error may prevent your Bluetooth device from appearing in the device list.

4. A hardware issue with the TV

A problem with the TV’s Bluetooth hardware may prevent the device from connecting.
