You can turn off the sound that plays when you turn your LG TV on or off.
The power sound can only be turned on or off, and you cannot adjust the volume.
Turning on Audio Guidance automatically turns on Device Power Sound.
This feature is available only on supported models.

How to Turn Off Your TV Power Sound
On your TV remote, press the [Settings] (gear icon) or [Mute] button three times in a row.
Step 1. Turn Off the Power Sound
- You can turn off the power sound to keep your home quiet at night or avoid waking up a sleeping child.
- 2026 and Later TVs (webOS 26 and Later): Press [Settings] on the remote control, select All Settings, General, Accessibility, Vision Features, Device Power Sound, and then Off.
- 2024 to 2025 TVs (webOS 23 to 25): Press [Settings] on the remote control, select All Settings, General, Accessibility, Device Power Sound, and then Off.
- 2021 to 2023 TVs (webOS 6.0 to 23): Press [Settings] on the remote control, select All Settings, General, Accessibility, TV Power Sound, and then Off.
- 2020 TVs (webOS 5.0): Press [Settings] on the remote control, select All Settings, Accessibility, TV Power Sound, and then Off.
- 2019 and Earlier TVs (webOS 4.5 and Earlier): Press [Settings] on the remote control, select All Settings, General, Additional Settings, TV Power On/Off Sound, and then Off.
