            The white steam/fog/mist that appears when you open the refrigerator door is a perfectly normal phenomenon.<br>
Due to the high temperature/humidity, hot air in the fridge’s surrounding environment meets the cold air inside the refrigerator, which causes a temperature difference resulting in water condensation which is seen as white steam/fog/mist.

<p>The white steam/fog/mist is usually more visible in relatively cold freezers, and particularly occurs more often during a humid summer season, while it is not frequently seen in dry weather.<br>
If the refrigerator is near a cooking appliance, the temperature differences can cause white steam to appear.<br>
