[LG refrigerator frost] [single door refrigerator] The mini refrigerator has too much frost.

Troubleshooting

The single door mini refrigerator is a direct cooled product with a cooling plate (EVA) inside to produce cold air.

Direct cooled products have a cooling plate directly exposed to the inside of the refrigerator, causing the insides to become frosted.
If the cooling plate has accumulated more than 1cm of frost, cooling performance may be decreased and the stored food may be affected.

Try this

If frost has accumulated to more than 1cm, turn the temperature control switch to OFF (defrost) and dissolve the frost on the cooling plate.

➔ To prevent frost from forming or to remove frost quickly, use a non-stick tool such as a defrost spatula or a rice paddle (plastic material) that was provided with the product.

Use a dry towel to clean away any melted water.

Warning!
If the frost is removed using a trowel or a sharp tool, the cooling plate can be damaged.
Therefore, use a tool with a rounded end that is not sharp.
Do not use a knife or an awl to remove ice from the refrigerator
