The OFF Display is a special function for displaying the product in the shop before sale which operates only limited functions such as the power supply and the display without running other parts inside the product.
OFF may be displayed when the temperature control button is pressed and held by mistake in the course of opening the door and taking out food or during wiping the display with a wet wipe/towel.
Causes and Symptoms
- ‘OFF’ appears on the display while freezing and refrigeration fail.
Try this
Pull out the power plug or shut down the circuit breaker and wait 10 seconds before you turn the power back on.
➔ Then ‘OFF’ will disappear from the temperature display and a normal operating temperature will be displayed.
Do as follows
1. Wipe the front display to remove water or foreign objects, if any are present, using a dry towel.
2. If it is unlikely that you will use the lock/unlock button very often, press and hold the button for at least 2 seconds (about 3 seconds) to lock it.
3. If you take out food by opening the right side door on the opposite side to the display, be careful not to press the display with your left hand.
