If a [C (upper case) or E CF] appears on the LED lamp display, it is an error code for an abnormality in the fan motor in the mechanical compartment, which requires a product inspection.

<h3 class="sub-tit">C (upper letter) or E CF (abnormality in the mechanical compartment fan motor) error</h3>
<p class="info-desc">➔ A C (upper case) or E CF (abnormality in the mechanical compartment fan motor) error appears on the display if the fan motor which disperses heat from the mechanical compartment cooling motor [compressor] at the back of the refrigerator does not operate due to an abnormality.</p>        <p>
Usually, it occurs in a case of fan motor failure, but sometimes it also occurs as a result of a wire disconnection or a problem with the main board.<br/>
When you turn the power off and on again, the error will disappear, and it will appear again 3 hours later.<br/>
Unplug the power cord of the product or trip the exclusive circuit breaker to reset the power, and then reuse it after about 5 minutes.<br/>
※ If the same symptom and the same inspection code are repeated, it is necessary to have it checked by an LG service technician for an accurate diagnosis.
