[LG electric range] Only the induction burner won't ignite

Troubleshooting

Causes and Symptoms

  • If the bottom of cookware is not flat
  • If cookware used is not cookware suitable for the induction range

If cookware not suitable for the induction electric range is used, [U] will appear on the display and the burner won't operate.

Try this

Use cookware with an IH symbol and a flat base that adheres to the cooktop, and cookware that fits the burner size (large: 22cm, medium: 18cm, small: 15cm).
Stainless steel pots may not be heated properly because of their material.
If a magnet sticks to the bottom surface of cookware, that cookware can be used.

For cookware that cannot be used, [No cookware] blinks on the display, and induction does not operate.

➔ Cookware that matches the burner should be used by checking the base size of the cookware to be used.

Checking cookware that matches the burner size
