<h2 class="tit">Causes and Symptoms</h2>

<li>Laundry is unevenly distributed in the drum, perhaps due to the incorrect use of the laundry net.</li>

<li>The drain filter is clogged with debris.</li>

<li>The drain hose or inlet hose is not affixed and is hitting against the washer.</li>

<li>A cabinet or shelf is installed near the washer.</li>

<li>The washer is not level.</li>

<h3 class="sub-tit">Is the washer making vibration noises because the laundry inside is clumped up on one side?</h3>
<p class="info-desc">➔ Pause the washing, rearrange the laundry and proceed to spin dry.</p><p>
If the laundry in the drum is clumped up on one side, instead of being evenly spread out, noise may occur.<br/>
To fix this, press the [Start / Pause] button to pause the washer, take out the laundry, spread it out evenly
and restart spin-dry.<br/>
Wash blankets using the [Blanket]/[Duvet] cycle to reduce noise from the washer.

<p class="info-desc">➔ Using a laundry net : Select an appropriately sized laundry net for the amount of laundry.</p><p>
It is advised to fill the net only up to 2/3 of its capacity.<br/>
Avoid washing a single laundry net by itself. It is advised to wash two or three nets at a time along with some
clothes.<br/>
Incorrect use of the laundry net may result in damage to the laundry or washer and cause excessive vibrations.

<h3 class="sub-tit">Are you washing items that should not be machine washed?</h3>
<p class="info-desc">➔ Remove items from the drum that may cause uneven weight distribution.</p><p>
Examples of such items are a bathroom mat, rug, electric blanket, rubber mat, waterproof material, dolls,
etc.<br/>
Such items may cause the weight to be concentrated on one side of the drum.<br/>
This results in an extension of the spin cycle, as the drum spins for longer in effort to balance the
load.<br/>
It is therefore not advised to wash such items. Press the [Pause] button to stop the spin-drying and remove such
items from the washer.

<h3 class="sub-tit">Is the washer not level and making thumping or thudding noises?</h3>
<p class="info-desc">➔ If you notice the washer shaking during spin-dry, level the washer.</p><p>
While some vibration is normal due to the rotation of the drum, an unlevel washer can cause excessive noise and
vibration.<br/>
To check for unevenness, rock the washer from the front, back and sides.<br/>
Using the wrench included in your purchase, adjust the height of the leg in the direction the unit tilts.<br/>
Ensure all legs are in firm contact with the floor.

<p class="info-desc">➔ Place a level on top of the washer to check whether it is level.</p><p>
Check by placing a level on the front side of the top plate.<br/>
Then, check by placing the level vertically in the middle of the top plate.
</p><p>※ The unit is level when the bubble inside the level bar is positioned in the middle.</p>

<h3 class="sub-tit">Do you hear clacking sounds during spin-dry?</h3>
<p class="info-desc">➔ Remove objects such as coins, hair pins, accessories, etc. from the drum.</p><p>Ensure to remove objects from laundry before washing.</p>

<h3 class="sub-tit">Does the washer generate loud humming sounds while draining water prior to spin-dry?</h3>
<p class="info-desc">➔ Remove foreign objects, such as hair, thread, coins, from the drain filter.</p><p>
Humming sounds along with draining sounds prior to spin-dry is normal operational noise of the drain pump.<br/>
However, if this noise is louder than usual, it could be indicative of foreign objects hindering the functioning
of the drain filter.
</p>

<h3 class="sub-tit">Do you hear thumping or tapping noises from the washer? Is a drain/inlet hose hitting against
the unit?</h3>
<p class="info-desc">➔ Rearrange the drain hose or inlet hose, ensuring they are kept at a distance from the
washer.</p><p>
Vibrations occur during operation of the washer, and this may cause the hoses to move and hit against the
washer.<br/>
If tapping noise occurs as a result, rearrange the hoses.
</p>

<h3 class="sub-tit">Thumping or tapping noises may also be caused by cabinets or shelves around your washer.</h3>
<p class="info-desc">➔ Rearrange items around the washer that may hit against it.</p><p>
Thumping or tapping noises should not occur if the washer has been properly installed.<br/>
If such noises are heard rather loudly, check whether the washer is hitting a shelf or cabinet near it during
operation.<br/>
It is advised to ensure sufficient space when installing the washer.
</p>

<h3 class="sub-tit">Do you hear collision sounds and notice the door shaking?</h3>
<p class="info-desc">➔ After the execution of repeated movements that help spread the laundry out evenly, the
drum starts to spin faster. </p><p>
During drum movements to balance the load, vibration and noise occur and the door may shake for a short
while.<br/>
Once balance is achieved and spin dry begins, vibration and noise should decrease.<br/>
Rest assured, the washer is designed to ensure that the door will not open while the drum is in motion.
