The washing machine is designed to secure a gap between the door glass and the door gasket to prevent interference (contact) between them, so small laundry may be caught in the gap.

Use a laundry net when washing small laundry items.
Small-size laundry, such as sleeves, stockings, tights, underwear, socks, and handkerchiefs, may be caught in the gap of the drum.
However, if you wash only the laundry net, the light load of laundry’s center of gravity shifts to one side, resulting in an increase in vibration/noise or poor spinning.
We recommend putting small laundry in a laundry net, and washing it with other laundry.
