LG Washer/Dryer Combo - How to Use the Dry Only Feature

To use the "Dry Only" feature on an LG washer-dryer combo, you must select the dry option immediately after powering on the machine, without touching the main wash cycle dial. The specific control panel layout and dry cycles may vary slightly depending on your model.
How to use Dry Only mode
  1. Turn on the machine. Press the  Power button to switch on the unit.
  2. Add your clothes. Place the wet or damp laundry into the drum.
  3. Activate the Dry cycle. Without turning the main cycle selection dial, press the dedicated  Dry button on the control panel. On some models, this may be labeled "Dry Only".
  4. Select drying options (if desired). If you press the  Dry button repeatedly, you can cycle through different options, such as:
    • Time Dry: Allows you to set the drying time manually, typically in 30, 60, or 120-minute increments.
    • Cupboard Dry: Dries clothes completely, ready to be put away.
    • Iron Dry: Leaves clothes slightly damp, making them easier to iron.
    • Eco: Uses less energy for drying.
  5. Disable the spin cycle. In some models, the unit automatically includes a spin cycle. To ensure only drying occurs, repeatedly press the  Spin Speed button until the spin light is turned off.

  6. Press Start. Once you've selected your desired settings, press the  Start/Pause button to begin the dry-only cycle.
