The front load washing machine door is composed of an inner and outer glass.
Read this guide for washing machine door maintenance tips.
Try this.
Inner Glass
1) Before washing, empty all pockets and fasten zippers and buttons.
Metal objects can damage the washing machine door glass or drum, causing serious leaks, damage to laundry, or loud
noises inside the drum.
Check pockets for coins, hairpins, keys, and other items.
The glass used in the washing machine is tempered glass, which is stronger than regular glass, but repeated minor
impacts and scratches during use can cause damage.
※ The inner glass of the product can be damaged by everyday impacts, thermal shocks, or metal
objects in the laundry.
2) Clean the washing machine door regularly.
After washing, dust, hair, and lint from clothes may remain on the inner glass or rubber gasket.
These foreign substances can create gaps between the rubber gasket and door glass, causing water to leak. Clean
regularly to ensure hygienic use and prevent leaks.
① Check for foreign substances or hair between the door.
② Wipe around the rubber gasket with a soft cloth.
③ Wipe the edges of the door glass with a soft cloth.
④ After cleaning, leave the washing machine door open to dry the interior moisture.
3) Water droplets may form inside the washing machine door glass.
It is normal for water droplets to form inside the door glass.
Depending on where the washing machine was installed, such as a laundry room or balcony, the humidity levels in the air may vary.
In the summer, when moist air undergoes rapid temperature changes due to cold air near the floor or cold water inside the drum, water droplets can form on the washing machine door.
This is similar to how water droplets form on the outside of a glass filled with ice during the summer.
Water droplets inside the door glass do not indicate a defect.
They will naturally evaporate as the temperature difference decreases or over time.
Water droplets can also drain through the hole (moisture release hole) on the lower edge of the door, so you can use the product with confidence.
※ The inside of the drum washing machine door is not vacuum-sealed or airtight.
Water can enter the glass during operation, and water can penetrate inside the product if water is sprayed on
the door during cleaning.
Do not spray water directly on the product.
Outer Glass
1) If the door hits surrounding objects when opened, damage may be caused.
Exercise caution when opening the door.
You can use the holder on the lower edge of the door to keep the door slightly open.
After the washing machine finishes operating, using the door holder to keep the door slightly open helps remove
moisture and ventilate the interior.
2) If detergent or fabric softener spills on the exterior of the door, wipe it off with a soft cloth.
Leaving detergent on the product for a long time can cause corrosion.
