Let's find out more.
If your washing machine leaks during the drain cycle, the drain hose may
have come loose from the drainpipe, or the drainpipe itself may be
clogged, causing water to overflow.
Refer to the methods below to resolve the issue.
Try this.
Is the drain hose loose or not fully inserted into the drainpipe?
→ Fully insert the drain hose into the drainpipe.
If the drain hose is loose or not fully inserted into the drainpipe,
the drained water may not flow into the drainpipe and could leak onto
the floor.
If the drainpipe is located at the back or side of the washing
machine,
you may not be able to see if the drain hose is disconnected.
Check the drainpipe and drain hose if a large amount of water leaks
during draining.
Is water leaking around the drainpipe?
→ If the drainpipe is clogged, causing a backflow, water may overflow
onto the floor near the washing machine,
which may be mistaken for a washing machine leak. Clean the drainpipe
regularly.
Ensure the drain hose is securely inserted into the drainpipe to prevent
leaks.
If the drainpipe is clogged, clean it.
If a drain trap is installed to prevent odors,
it may slow the drainage rate and cause temporary overflow around the
drainpipe
However, the water will drain eventually.
