The washing machine door remains locked during washing to prevent injury from the spinning drum.
Even if operation is paused, the door will remain locked as long as water is present in the drum.
Additionally, the door will stay locked in the event of a power outage or if the power cord is disconnected during washing.
Try this
Is the washer powered off and is its door locked?
➔ Connect the power cord and turn on the washing machine.
If the door remains locked after turning the machine on, it may be due to the drum still being too hot from a high-temperature cycle.
The door can be opened once the drum cools down and it is safe to use. Please wait a moment for the temperature to decrease.
Is the washing machine operating?
➔ You can open the door after pausing the operation of the washing machine and hearing the clicking sound of door lock being unlocked.
