[Soak] helps loosen set-in dirt by soaking laundry in water and detergent for an extended
time.

Here is a quick overview and how to use each option by model type.
How to Use [Soak] and [Pre Wash] by Model Type
Models with a dedicated [Stain Care/Soak] or [Pre Wash] cycle on the Dial
[Soak]: Turn the dial to select the [Stain Care/Soak] cycle.
[Pre Wash]: Turn the dial to select a wash cycle, then press the Wash button to select [Pre
Wash] (Note: The [Pre Wash] options may not be available with certain cycles.)
Models with [Soak] or [Pre Wash] in the Wash Options
[Soak]: Turn the dial to select a wash cycle, then press the Wash button repeatedly to
select [Soak]. (Note: The [Soak] options may not be available with certain cycles.)
[Pre Wash]: Turn the dial to select a wash cycle, then press the Wash button repeatedly to
select [Pre Wash]. (Note: The [Pre Wash] options may not be available with certain cycles.)
Models with Touch Controls
[Soak]: Select a wash cycle from the cycle list and press the Wash button repeatedly to
select [Soak] (Note: The [Soak] options may not be available with certain cycles.)
[Pre Wash]: Select a wash cycle from the cycle list and press the Wash button repeatedly to
select [Pre Wash] (Note: The [Pre Wash] options may not be available with certain cycles.)
LG Objet Collection models with LCD Dial
Depending on the soil level, you can select from 6 options: (Off, Light, Normal, Heavy, Pre Wash, Soak).

1. Press the Power button to turn on the washer, then turn the dial to select a wash
cycle.
(Note: The [Soak] or [Pre Wash] options may not be available with certain cycles.) - 2. Press the Wash button repeatedly to select [Soak] or [Pre Wash].
- 3. Press OK button on the LCD dial, then press the Start button.
WashTower with LCD

Depending on the model, the [Soak] or [Pre Wash] options may not be available. If your control panel does not have these features, we recommend using the Heavy Duty cycle.
