[LG dryer] [Electric heat pump] There is fungus in the water tank

Troubleshooting

Some of the dust in the residual water at the bottom of the product may be dried and form a stain.
When the water left in the bottom of the product drains, some of superfine dust that passed the filter melts in water and be drained altogether.
As time goes, water in the water tank is all evaporated but only dust remains, which may form a spot or stain.

Causes and Symptoms

  • Stains such as black spot occur in the water tank of the dryer.

Try this

Washing the water tank

1. Dust inside the water tank is stuck hard and won’t be easily washed off with cold water, so use a warm water, shake and rinse it out.
