A water supply hose is a hose used to connect a dryer with a faucet.
You can connect the hose easily just using a Phillips driver.
The connection method may differ depending on the type of water supply hose and the shape of the faucet.

Causes and Symptoms
- I would like to connect the dryer’s water supply hose.
Check if the end of the water supply hose to be connected to the faucet is a one touch-type (general type), or a screw type.
- Turn off the dryer and the faucet before connecting or extending the water supply hose.
- Dryers only use cold water.

How to connect a one touch-type (general type) faucet
1. Press the push-switch of the water supply hose to separate the coupling device and the hose.
2. Without using the coupling device, connect the water supply hose to the faucet whilst pressing the push-switch.
How to connect a round-type faucet
1. First, separate the coupling device of the water supply hose from the hose.
If they are not separated, they may not be tightened completely and water may leak after assembly.
2. Turn the 4 screws on the coupling device anti-clockwise to loosen them adequately so that they fit the circumference of the faucet.
If the faucet is too big, pull out the guide plate (round white plastic) before loosening the screws.
3. Fit the coupling device to the faucet.
At this time, insert it until the door gasket inside the coupling device is in contact with the faucet.
4. Turn the 4 screws on the coupling device clockwise and tighten them fully.
5. Check the threads on the end of the water supply hose and the coupling device and turn the fitting clockwise to tighten the joint.
When the door gasket is reached, turn 1 or 2 rounds more to tighten firmly against the seal.

How to connect a screw-type faucet
1. First, remove the coupling device of the water supply hose.
2. Without using the coupling device, check the threads on the end of the water supply hose and the faucet and turn the fitting clockwise to tighten the joint.
When the door gasket is reached, turn 1 or 2 rounds more to tighten firmly against the seal.
How to connect the water supply hose with the dryer
1. Connect the water supply hose to the water supply connection at the back of the dryer.
2. After installation, be sure to turn on the faucet to check for water leaks.
Water is supplied only during the Stem Dry cycle.
Do you wish to extend the water supply hose because it is too short?
➔ First, purchase a water supply extension hose from an LG Electronics distributor or at an LG Electronics Service Center.
1. Connect the newly purchased extension water supply hose to the faucet after disconnecting the old water supply hose.
Connect the end of the new water supply hose to the existing hose to complete the installation.
2. Remove the existing water supply hose from the faucet.
3. Connect the newly purchased water supply extension hose to the faucet by referring to the One-Touch Type Water Supply Hose Connection above.
4. Connect the end of the extension hose to the existing hose using the intermediate coupling device (connector) of the water supply hose.
5. Always connect the dryer to the cold water faucet.
6. After installation, make sure to turn on the faucet and check for water leaks.
