[LG dryer automatic condenser cleaning] Doesn’t automatic condenser cleaning cause more rust?

Troubleshooting

The generation of rust is unrelated to the automatic condenser cleaning method.

As water is sprayed only onto the front of the condenser during automatic cleaning, water does not reach the copper pipeline that is located at the either end of the condenser that may get rusty.
In addition, water sprayed onto the front of the condenser is discharged into the water container or the drain hose together with condensed water.
A condenser dryer is a structure where moisture/water vapor is separated from the air whilst it is passing the condenser, is condensed into water in the cold pipeline made of steel, and then discharged.
Due to its principle of operation, there’s always moisture on it regardless of whether cleaning is carried out automatically or manually.

The blue corrosion is actually preventative in that it prevents the metal of the condenser from oxidizing further.

After one or one and a half years, the condition will reach a point after which it will remain as is without further change.
In case of the condenser bracket, there may be corrosion in small areas on some cut edges.
This is a natural phenomenon.
In addition, even if there is corrosion, it will not extend to the whole unit, and corrosion will not get into the drum.
