Check the dimension of the space in which you would like to install the dryer and washing machine in series.
➔ Have a measuring tape ready and measure the width and height of the desired space installing the machines. Also check if there is enough space to open the door of the dryer.
2. Secure approximately 10cm spacing between the backs of the dryer and the washing machine from the wall behind, and at least 5cm on either side of the machines.
3. Check whether the height of the space is at least 220cm and the depth, 150cm.
Installing the machines on your own may cause issues, such as bending or blocking of the drain hose.
We recommend having the dryer and the washing machine stacked by an LG service technician specialized in installation.
Stack the dryer and the washing machine in a manner appropriate for the particular dryer and washing machine models.
➔ There are 3 possible methods of stacking.
1. Using an angle, if the dryer and the washing machine are different in size or brand (angle)
2. Installing in series using a stacking kit, if the dryer is 9kg (draw-type stacking kit)
3. Putting the dryer directly on top of the washing machine, if they are the same in size (standard stacking kit)
Check the models of the dryer and the washing machine, and select a stacking kit appropriate to the situation.
(※ Size of washing machine that can be installed: Drum washing machine with a height of 1,000mm or less, and width of 700mm or less).
At this time, a space with a width of 83cm and height of 220cm is required to stack the dryer and the washing machine.
If the floor is uneven and one leg of the universal stacking kit is hanging in the air, connect the enclosed rubber leg to level the stacking kit.
Leveling the stacking kit by extending the leg of the stacking kit, and not using the rubber leg, may cause noise or vibration when the dryer operates.
