[LG Dryer] I want to know the drying cycle for different fabrics

Troubleshooting

Let's find out more.

Using the appropriate course for your fabric type can prevent damage. (Courses may vary depending on the model.)

Try this.

Sensor Dry Courses

These courses automatically set the drying time and temperature for optimal drying by measuring the
laundry's dampness by detecting the internal temperature and humidity.

1. Normal: Everyday clothes, underwear, cotton, socks, pillowcases, T-shirts

  • Strong: For drying thick clothes.
  • Normal+: Dries laundry more thoroughly than the Normal course.
  • Normal: For drying general laundry.
  • Gentle: Dries laundry more gently than the Normal course to reduce shrinkage and static cling.
  • Delicates: Dries laundry leaving some moisture for easier ironing.

2. Sterilization: Cotton clothes, underwear

  • Hygienically dries cotton clothing.

3. Small Load Quick: Synthetic fabrics

  • Dries small loads of linen, synthetic fabrics, or other items that require quick drying.

4. Towels: Hand towels, bath towels

  • Dries general hand and bath towels.

5. Shirts: Shirts, synthetic pants, underwear, blouses

  • Normal: Dries clothes to a ready-to-wear state.
  • Gentle: Dries laundry more gently than the Normal course to reduce shrinkage and static cling.

6. Wool/Delicates: Wool

  • Dries wool and wool-blend garments.

7. Active Wear: Workout clothes

  • Dries active wear and other leisure clothing.

8. Bedding: Comforters, bedding, sheets

  • Dries comforters, blankets, and other bedding. (Always check the care label on textile products before drying.)

9. Bedding Refresh: Comforters, blankets

  • Refreshes bedding such as comforters and blankets by removing dust with air, without washing.

10. Outdoor Refresh: Outdoor wear

  • Restores the water-repellent performance of outdoor clothing.

11. Padding Refresh: Down jackets

  • Refreshes down jackets and other seasonal clothing by restoring their volume with air, without washing.

Timed Dry Courses

→ These are manual drying courses that operate for a user-specified time.

The dryer operates for the set time, regardless of the laundry's dampness or the internal temperature and humidity.

1. Air Fluff: All laundry

  • Fluffs laundry with air, without heat.

2. Warm Air: Bath towels, bathrobes

  • Use this course to dry small loads or for additional drying after a Normal cycle.
Wait! Here are more tips.
In cold winter weather, the average drying time displayed on the screen after
selecting a drying course may increase depending on the ambient temperature.
For effective drying, it is recommended to dry 50-60% of the maximum capacity.
It is recommended to dry large items individually.
