[LG refrigerator - gasket] Mold formed on the door gasket. There are stains of black foreign objects

Troubleshooting

When you open and close the door, cold air inside the refrigerator will meet warm outside air.
When that happens, the difference in temperatures creates humidity and moisture and mold may grow if damp areas are not dried.
As running time passes, the door gasket may get dirty due to dust and other substances.

Try this

Is the door gasket stained with black foreign objects?

➔ Clean the door gasket using a detergent.

If the door gasket is stained with hardened foreign objects such as food, its sealing may be degraded so that the door may not be closing tightly.
Wipe the door gasket with a hot steamed towel and clean it using a detergent applied on a toothbrush or a sponge.

Is the refrigerator door not closing properly?

➔ Be careful not to let a refrigerator cover or plastic bags get caught in the refrigerator door when you open/close the door.
