[LG gas oven] Flame turns off when I release the knob during initial ignition.

Troubleshooting

Debris [food spillage, water] in the burner cap, sparking plug, or heat sensing rod can prevent ignition.

Try this

Clean the area thoroughly of any debris before use.
To clean away the debris, use an unused toothbrush to brush away any foreign matter such as food scraps.

1. Remove any debris on the spark plug/heat sensing rod/burner cap, etc. using a toothbrush.
2. If there is a lot of moisture on the burner head, use a dry cloth to remove it.
3. If there is dry debris on the burner head, use a toothbrush or needle to remove it.

If the problem persists even after proceeding with the method above, it could be a problem with the valve.
It is recommended to have a professional service technician diagnose and check the issue accurately.
