It may not ignite if the gas valve is closed or if the burner cap or burner head are
assembled incorrectly.
Moisture or debris in the burner cap, burner head, sparking plug, or heat sensing rod can prevent ignition.
Try this
If a clicking sound is heard but it won’t ignite when you turn the ignition knob, check if the gas valve
connected to the gas range is open.
If the middle valve for stopping gas is turned off, turn it on, and if the gas won’t ignite with the valve
turned on, turn the middle valve for stopping gas on and off 3 to 4 times and then try to ignite the
gas.
※ Check if city gas has been shut off by the gas circuit breaker for safety.
Check the installation status of the burner cap and the burner head on top of the gas range.
If the burner cap or the burner head are tilted or lifted on one side, reinstall them so that they are
level.
Check if the burner cap, burner head, ignition plug or heat sensing rod are filled with moisture or a
foreign object is caught therein.
If there is moisture or a foreign object, remove it using a cleaning brush or a toothbrush and use the gas
range.
For models using batteries, if sparks are weak, fit replacement batteries and check if the burner
ignites.
For products with an electric cord connected to an outlet, check if the outlet is abnormal or check if the
circuit breaker has tripped.
