[LG gas range] When I turn the knob, there is a “beep” sound or the appliance turns off

Troubleshooting

If a beep sound is heard once and the appliance turns off or a beep sound is heard once and it ignites right after turning the knob, the battery is dead.
If you turn the knob when the battery is discharged, a beep sounds once from the product and the battery discharged lamp turns on.
(It is on for approximately 30 seconds and then it turns off automatically.)

Try this

In the case of regular gas ranges, the batteries are located next to the gas hose connection at the left rear side of the gas range.
For built-in gas ranges with batteries, wearing a pair of gloves, hold both sides of the top plate, slightly lift the appliance up from the sink, and look in the middle of its base as the batteries are located there.

Warning!

When replacing the batteries, the batteries should be fitted accurately so that the flat surface of the battery is against the spring part of the mounting unit.

In cases where the batteries need to be replaced quite often, it is likely that the ignition knob is not being accurately returned to the OFF position which leads to the overheat protection sensor continuing to sense the temperature even when not in use, thereby shortening battery life due to excessive battery use.
After each use, always turn the ignition knob exactly to the OFF position.
