Sign in to your LG Account on your TV to use personalized content recommendations, apps, and other smart features.
You can open the sign-in screen from the Home screen or the Settings menu. The menu path varies by webOS version.

How to Sign In to or Create an LG Account

Step 1. Open the LG Account Sign-In Screen

How to Check Your TV's webOS Version

On your TV remote, press the Settings or Mute button three times in a row to see your webOS version.

  • 2021 and Later TVs (webOS 6.0 and Later): Press Home on your remote, and then select Login Account from the top menu.
  • 2020 TVs (webOS 5.0 and Earlier): Press Settings on your remote, and then select All Settings, General, and Account Management.
  • 2014 and Earlier TVs (NetCast): Press Home on your remote, and then select Login in the upper-right corner.

Step 2. How to Create an LG Account

  • Follow the path for your TV model year and webOS version.
  • 2026 and Later TVs (webOS 26 and Later): Press Home on the remote, and then select Login Account from the AI Board at the top of the screen. Select Create LG Account. Open the displayed address in a web browser on your mobile device or PC, and then enter the code. Alternatively, you can enter the information using your TV remote. Select Agree to Terms and Conditions, enter the required information, and then select OK. Open the LG Account Email Authentication email and select Confirm.
  • 2023 to 2025 TVs (webOS 23 to webOS 25): Press Home on the remote, and then select Login Account from the AI Board at the top of the screen. Select Create LG Account, and then Agree to Terms and Conditions. Enter the required information, and then select OK. Open the LG Account Email Authentication email and select Confirm.
  • 2021 to 2022 TVs (webOS 6.0 to webOS 22): Press Settings on the remote, and then select All Settings, General, System, LG Account, Sign In with the TV Remote, Create LG Account, and Agree to Terms and Conditions. Enter the required information, and then select OK. Open the LG Account Email Authentication email and select Confirm.
  • 2020 TVs (webOS 5.0): Press Settings on the remote, and then select All Settings, General, Account Management, and LG Account Login. Select Create Account in the upper-right corner of the screen, and then select Agree to Terms & Conditions. Enter the required information, and then select OK. Open the LG Account Email Authentication email and select Confirm.
  • 2015 to 2019 TVs (webOS 4.5 and Eariler): Press Settings on the remote, and then select All Settings, General, and Account Management. Select Create Account in the upper-right corner of the screen, and then select Agree to Terms & Conditions. Enter the required information, and then select OK. Open the LG Account Verification Email and select Confirm.
  • 2014 and Earlier TVs (NetCast): Press Home on the remote, and then select the person-shaped icon in the upper-right corner of the screen. Select Sign Up, and then Agree to Terms & Conditions. Enter the required information, and then select OK. Open the LG Account Verification Email and select Confirm.
