How to Remove Dust from Your Projector Lens and Clean the Exterior

Clean your LG projector correctly to maintain a clear picture and prevent damage. Before you begin, turn off the projector, unplug the power cord and adapter, and allow it to cool completely.
Using a soft microfiber cloth, such as a lens cleaning cloth, gently wipe the lens and sensors to avoid scratching them. Do not use water or chemical cleaners, as they can cause a fire or damage the projector.

How to Clean Your Projector Lens

Step 1. Disconnect the Power

Turn off the projector and unplug the power cord and adapter.

Step 2. Allow the Projector to Cool

Wait until the projector has cooled completely.

Step 3. Clean the Lens and Sensors

Gently wipe the lens and sensors with a clean, soft microfiber cloth to remove dust and fingerprints.
