[LG Air Conditioner Air] Air does not blow

Troubleshooting

The preheat function runs to prevent blow of chill air from the indoor unit when operating the heating mode first, and the defrosting function to keep heating well in winter.
In such a case, air may not blow from the indoor unit.
It is normal that warm air blows after a certain period of time.

Causes and Symptoms

  • The indoor unit lamp blinks, or [CH] and [Number] alternatively appear on the display.
  • Preheat/defrosting are under way during [Heating mode].

Try this

Does LED blinks, or error was displayed?

➔ Unplug the power cord of the air conditioner from the outlet, or trip the exclusive circuit breaker of the air conditioner.

Turn the power 3 minutes back, and try to operate the product.
If the symptom persists, have the service technician check the product.

Does the air outlet louver open, but no air blows?

If the air outlet louver opens, but not air blows, the indoor unit may be defective.
Have the service technician check the product.

Are Preheat/defrosting under way during heating?
