The function defrosts from the outdoor unit with warm air from the outdoor unit by operating the air conditioner in the cooling mode for the time being,
and the defrosting function automatically starts to defrost the outdoor unit without action by customers.
While defrosting, vapor may be generated from the outdoor unit, or water drips on the bottom.
In such a case, the louver is kept slightly opened to prevent chill air from the indoor unit.
