- The noise from the outdoor unit that is installed on the railing has increased. The outdoor unit is vibrating.

- The outdoor unit of the air conditioner may vibrate due to the operation of its motor and compressor.
When the outdoor unit is installed on the railing (railing shelf),the vibration noise may be heard louder as it vibrates the sash as well.
■ Solution or Settings

1.Is the outdoor unit of the air conditioner installed on the railing shelf on the outside wall or railing and has it been installed for a long time?
- The noise is caused by an environmental factor which is the worn out railing, and it can also affect the neighboring railing as well.
2 . Have you installed the outdoor unit of air conditioner on the railing shelf on the outside wall or railing and has it been installed recently?
- The noise can be caused by the installation problem when the service engineer placed the unit into the railing shelf, the unit may contact the railing or the railing
shelf is poorly secured to the balcony.
▶ Solution
During the operation,
1. For safety, put on a pair of cotton work gloves or the rubber work gloves. And find the source of the noise by touching different areas of the railing pipes or
the supporting pipes with your hand.
- If you find a place where the noise disappears or decreases when touched with hand , it can be the possible source of the noise.
2. Use a tie strap to bind the noise-generating/vibrating parts of the pipe railing.
Additionally, for the 2-in-1 the air conditioners and inverter air conditioners, the rotation speed of the outdoor unit motor and compressor changes rapidly.
For this reason it may make a ‘buzzing’ noise depending on the room temperature and the desired temperature settings.
This is not a product defect as it’s a normal operating sound for higher cooling performance.
