1. Before turning off the air conditioner , use [fan mode] or [auto clean] function to dry off the indoor heat exchanger for more than 10 minutes.
2 Clean and r eplace the pre filter and other functional filters on regular basis according to the maintenance manual.
3. If it smells bad , Remove the filter from the appliance and prepare the citric acid water by d iluting commercially available citric acid with water at a ratio of
1 (citric acid) : 10 (water) and sprinkle this solution sufficiently on the indoor heat exchanger.
After that, run the cooling mode with the desired temperature set to 18 ℃ for 20 to 30 minutes.
This will reduce the odor as the o dor particles and foreign substances in the product will get washed away by the citric acid solution and the condensate water w
hich then will be drained out of the product.
※ Avoid using commercially available air conditioner cleaners, cleaning fluids or perfume deodorants.
It may damage the product or worsen the smell.
